It’s also been really fun to get to pick out trims, colors, fixtures, etc. which are all included and will make it much easier down the line when we’re ready to move in. We purchased a home from Cutting Edge Homes back in 2008. They were diligent in addressing complicated delivery issues (low overhead train tracks that prevented the home from going under the tracks) and unusual circumstances with the approving authority in what was required. All of the items were dealt with on a timely basis along with anything else that came up. They built us exactly the home that we wanted, and built it exactly the way that we wanted it to make it our own.

Throughout the process they were courteous and fair and it was evident all through the process that they cared about us. Us being satisfied was important to Cutting Edge Homes then, and as it turns out, over the years that has never changed.

One of the reps swung by the house and we let him know that there were a couple of electrical issues in the panel and the team jumped right on it to get the factory service people to address it. They came out and fixed the electrical issues to our satisfaction.

Over 10 years later and I called Cutting Edge Homes to ask a couple of general questions as we are considering selling our home. The same experienced and warm-hearted people are still there and remembered me instantly. They did everything they could to assist us to make sure that all questions were answered, even discussed the quality of the home with the person writing up the offer on the home. What other companies do that after a full decade?

We have loved living in our house these ten years. If we ever build another modular home in California, this will certainly be our first call.
